Update July 2, 2026: Thanks for all your comments over the past 6 months. Shufflr aims to bring you random websites not typically found through search engines. The reality of the internet is that most sites are business-related, But we agree with you: less corporate sites, more stuff that's fun and entertaining. We'll be relaunching soon with a better design and new features, such as user login, better category classification, and selecting multiple/all categories.
Update Jan 16, 2026: A new category called academic homepages has been added to the collection. This category features nearly 10,000 homepages belonging to researchers and academics at US-based universities. Read more about it in our blog post.

Our index features websites that are informative, entertaining, nostalgic, or preserved as snapshots of internet history.
We use an automated evaluation system to create lists, but occasionally a site may change, go down, or slip through our filters. If you see a website that doesn’t belong or is mismatched to a topic, report it (🏴) and we’ll fix it. 👍 or 👎 lets us know which sites are worthy of inclusion and helps shape the index over time.
